The first dip switch on Bank A (RAM/IO Check) is only of any use if the special system check rom is installed in socket CL01 (Part ID CL090011)

The only switch that does anything on Bank B is switch 1, this enables or disables the collision detection. If this is On, then the balloon will not burst when hitting obstacles.
